Mr. Gopalan spent the majority of his career with General Electric, spearheading their appliance manufacturing operations in China and the Far East. As one of the senior members of the GE International team, Mr. Gopalan had direct interaction with GE senior management, including Mr. Jack Welch, from whom he learned a great deal.

Mr. Gopalan is a retired senior executive of General Electric. In a 45-year career, he has worked in senior management positions in a number of multinational corporations including GE, Stanley Works, Ingersoll-Rand, Massy-Ferguson and Telco (Mercedes Benz). One of the first Master Black Belts at GE, Mr. Gopalan has trained thousands of people and implemented countless quality and leadership programs in North America and Asia resulting in millions of dollars in cost reductions.
Mr. Gopalan's career has included managing large off-shore corporations for US companies in China, India and South Korea, experiences which have given him keen insights into matters such as supply chain management, manufacturing and sourcing, and operations management. He possesses a wealth of contacts among senior management in many leading corporations, is a member of the teaching faculty of several universities, and is an advisor to a number of private and public companies in the United States and India.
Mr. Gopalan holds an MBA in Operations Management and International Business from University of Detroit, Michigan, and a Graduate degree in Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering from Madras University, India. He resides with his family in Odessa, Florida and Chennai, India.
